When you have a disability, studying abroad requires more preparation. In this article, you will find the contacts of the differents handicap services of the main students structures in Lyon.
If your handicap requires an adjustment in your school years, you will first have to refer it to the Mission Handicap (the Handicap Service) of the university where you prepare your mobility.
Concerning housing, the CROUS offers appartments designed for disabled people.

Disability is not always visible. If you suffer from a chronic illness, mental issues (depression, anxiety, bipolarity…) or dys problems, you also have the right to have a support.
Public transports :

Good to know : All subways stations have disabled access, EXCEPT Croix-Paquet station (mĂ©tro C), which doesn’t have an elevator.
Regarding buses, most of them are accessible : 7 on 10 bus stops are equipped for wheelchairs.
